2011 Cascadia IT Conference Call for Participation

The deadline for talk/panel/presentations is 31 DEC, 2010

The deadline for tutorial proposals is 15 NOV, 2010.

Presenter: Chris Mosetick, Revolution Analytics

We will spend 15 minutes discussing the future of SASAG:
* Do we want to set ourselves up as a non-profit with bylaws and officers?
* Do we want to become a formal LOPSA or SAGE chapter?
* Do we want to continue as we are – no formal structure?

Then Chris will talk about his experiences setting up ZFS as a NAS and iSCSI SAN.

Chris Mosetick is a certified IPv6 Sage by Hurricane Electric Internet Services IPv6 certification program. For the last six years Chris has been working as an independent sysadmin consultant working with small businesses on a variety of technical projects. Recently he has taken on a sysadmin position for Revolution Analytics in Seattle. When not behind his Dvorak keyboard, Chris spends his free time in the mountains pursuing his year-round back-country skiing passion.
