Note to future conference chairs: December 31st may sound like a fantastic and obvious deadline. Don’t do it. Everyone is incredibly busy the last two weeks of the year and no one has time to think about a submission. Pick a time when people are free to ponder, something open like, oh, say, Sunday the 9th of January.

Lesson learned. New submission deadline for casitconf’11 is: Midnight (PST), the night of Sunday, 9 JAN, 2011.

The online registration system for the 2011 Cascadia IT Conference is online now at http://www.casitconf.org/casitconf11/Registration.html – time to register!
